The 140-room Courtyard by Marriott Raleigh North is situated alongside Interstate 440 on the north side of North Carolina’s capital city just minutes from downtown. The two-story, non-smoking residential-style hotel has facilities suited to both the business and leisure traveler. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and a morning newspaper. The property is moments from North Hills, an upscale shopping, dining and entertainment complex and 14 miles from Raleigh-Durham International Airport. There are six golf courses within easy driving distance of the hotel. Area landmarks and attractions include North Carolina State Fairgrounds, Research Triangle Park, Duke Health Regional Hospital, Wake Medical Center, and North Carolina State University.

All the guestrooms, and 13 suites, have a work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, cable television with movie channels, pay-per-view movies, alarm clock, pull-out sofa bed, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, coffee and tea making facilities and two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone. Video games and players are available for rent.

The only meal served at the Courtyard Café is breakfast but there are numerous restaurants nearby including an Applebee’s, Bahama Breeze, Bonefish Grill and TGI Friday’s. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and an exercise room. There is a Lifestyle Family Fitness center close to the property. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, a list of restaurants that will deliver to the hotel and information on area attractions and events. Other amenities include a coin-operated laundry and a fax and copying machine available for guest use.

From Raleigh-Durham Airport (RDU) 14 miles: Take I-40 East towards Raleigh to Exit 289, Wade Avenue. Follow to I-440 (Inner Beltline NORTH). Take I-440 to Exit 10, Wake Forest Road. Turn right at exit. Turn right at next light onto Wake Towne Drive. Hotel is first driveway on the right.
