Overall, we were all very pleased with the hotel. Our children liked the pool. The room was nice and clean. The continental breakfast was good and filling.

Swimming pool clean, neat rooms.

Take Squad Car Tour of the town, and even take a look at the Old City Jail. There are also excellent vineyards in this area of North Carolina such as Black Wolf, Rag Apple, Round Peak, Shelton, and Stony Knoll vineyards. If you love history, there's the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History and many historic sites nearby. Restaurants in the area include Mayflower Seafood, Biscuitville and Taco Bell. Yes, I would recommend the Hampton Inn in Mount Airy, North Carolina to my family and friends. The staff is friendly and the service is wonderful. A large complimentary breakfast is offered with a variety of hotel and cold food choices. Free drinks, cookies and fruit are served all day. The guest rooms are very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Extra pillows are available. The heat and air conditioning works very well. This hotel has beautiful decor and nice carpeting through out the halls. There are many restaurants and places to shop within walking distance.
