Excellent hotel for the price, I've paid more for less! Staff were friendly and overall excellent, continental breakfast was nice... They seemed to care very much about our being comfortable. We certainly got much more than our "money's worth"

Clean, plenty of towels, good continental breakfast, close to sites, friendly employees.

I wouldn't say that there was anything that we didn't like.

The pet-friendly Quality Inn Mount Airy is three miles from the North Carolina Granite Quarry and provides 100 affordable and quality rooms equally suited to the business or pleasure traveler. Items included with the room rate are a continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 30 guests. Mount Airy is the birthplace of Andy Griffith and tourists can see Floyd's City Barber Shop, Old Mayberry Jail, Snappy Lunch and Andy's childhood home. Other area landmarks and attractions include several golf courses, the Yadkin Valley vineyards and Hanging Rock State Park for boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, rock climbing and picnicking. The hotel is 14 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
