The 120 all-suites Residence Inn by Marriott Raleigh Durham Airport is located off Interstate 40, just one mile from the international airport and provides a complimentary 24-hour shuttle service to and from the airport. The four-story, pet-friendly property is four miles from Research Triangle Park, the largest research park in the US and home to over 100 companies including Kendle, Lenovo, RH Donnelley and Tekelec. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, an expanded continental breakfast, local telephone calls, parking and nightly social hours midweek. The non-smoking inn is eight miles from the Carolina Ballet and the Museum of Natural Sciences. Designed for an extended stay, the inn’s suites offer separate sleeping, living and dining areas. There is a meeting room for social or business functions that can accommodate 30 guests.

All the suites come with a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and conventional oven, full-size refrigerator with icemaker, toaster, dishwasher, coffeemaker and a full set of cutlery and crockery. There is a work desk with high-speed Internet access, ergonomic chair, fireplace, pullout sofa bed, cable television with movie channels, pay-per-view movies, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and two-line telephone with voicemail.

The inn has an outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool and fitness center. The Courtyard Café only serves breakfast but there are several places to eat nearby including Hooters, Texas Steakhouse, Cracker Barrel and Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, information on area events and attractions and a list of restaurants that will deliver to the property. There is a coin-operated laundry, business center, and a picnic area with a barbecue grill. The hotel also provides a grocery shopping service.

From Raleigh Durham Airport (RDU) 1 mile: Exit Airport by following signs toward I-40 West Durham/Chapel Hill. Do not get on I-40. Instead, cross over the interstate. After the interstate, take the first left on Aerial Center Parkway. Turn left on Hospitality Court. Hotel is on the right.
