Not a bad place. The location was good and the staff was nice. I didn't get as much bang for my buck as I thought I would. I would say on a whole, it was average.

Didn't have a pool when I expected one. Tub didn't drain well.

I would recommend this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. While it is not on the main drag, it is only one block over and easy to get to.

Convenient for all the attractions in the area.

It would have been more convenient to have internet service in the room.

The 50-room Econo Lodge Crystal Coast is in Morehead City two blocks from the Crystal Coast Civic Center. Items included with the room rate at this two-story motel are a continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a newspaper on weekday mornings, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The property is one block off of Highway 70 and two miles from the Atlantic Ocean. Area landmarks and attractions include the North Carolina Aquarium, Fort Macon State Park, Cape Lookout National Seashore, the North Carolina Maritime Museum, Camp Lejeune and shopping at the Morehead Flea Market. The property is four miles from historic Beaufort.

Several couples said this Econo Lodge provide ideal for a weekend getaway. The location was great, a short drive from the beach, and the front desk staff here was friendly and helpful.
