The Holiday Inn in Lumberton is a surprise jewel. With the exception of the television, which needs an upgrade, the room could have been 3 star.

The bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious.

They billed me incorrectly.

The 107-room Holiday Inn Lumberton is two miles from downtown Lumberton and provides quality accommodation designed for both the business traveler and families on vacation. Items included with the room rate at this two-story, full-service hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. There are two rooms available for business or social functions. The larger can accommodate 235 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include Lumber River State Park, the Carolina Civic Center, the Exploration Station childrens museum, St. Andrews Presbyterian College and shopping at the nearby Biggs Park Mall. The property is a short drive from South of the Border, a popular tourist stop which has shops, restaurants and a miniature golf course.

Many travelers who stayed at this Holiday Inn liked the location, close to Interstate 95 and adjoining a shopping mall. The on-site Dennys restaurant provided good, inexpensive food and the front desk staff had lots of helpful hints about sightseeing. The accommodation was reasonably priced, well equipped and spotlessly clean. This property gets many repeat clients which is always a good recommendation.
