This hotel is a great choice to stay for business. It is well worth the money. Rooms are very clean and smoke free, the hotel stuff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is more then just a donut. I believe this hotel should be 2.5 stars not just 2.

As always Marriott hotels are nice.

Staff was very friendly and enthusiastic. The beds unexpectedly plush and comfortable. The hot breakfast exceeded expectations and the staff worked really hard to insure we were all well fed. This was our first experience with the Fairfield chain. We will definitely stay again.

The beds were wonderful.

Lobby decor was too fussy.

The 104-room Fairfield Inn by Marriott Lumberton is located on I-95, two miles from downtown Lumberton and one and a half miles from the Carolina Civic Center. The three-story non-smoking hotel provides quality accommodation at affordable prices for both the business and leisure traveler. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a hot breakfast, local telephone calls, parking and a morning newspaper. The property is close to the Cliffwood Golf Club and the Pinewood Country Club. Other nearby attractions include the Rockingham International Speedway, Arlington International Speedway and the 148-acre Luther Britt Park that offers swimming, fishing, canoeing and nature trails.

Lots of snowbirds they are the northerners heading to Florida to avoid the winter chills say this make a great place to stop. One former visitor said is the mid-point between New York City and Palm Beach, Florida. They say the price is right and so is the southern hospitality. The proximity close to I-95 makes it easy to find. Words of advice from regular visitors: Be sure to make a reservation. Many a traveler has arrived to find there is no room in this inn.
