I asked about the shuttle and was signed up. I went down stairs at 5 am to get it but they decided not to run it and had called a cab. This made me very late and caused me tons of grief at the airport

Quiet, convenient, safe, friendly and helpful staff.

It was not clear that the wine and desserts were billed to room.

The 225-room Marriott Research Triangle Park is located in the center of the 7,000-acre Research Triangle Park, the largest research park in the United States with over 100 research and development companies. The six-story, non-smoking hotel offers quality accommodation at an affordable price for both the business and leisure traveler. The full-service hotel has seven meeting rooms for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 300 guests. The hotel is close to five golf courses and premium shopping at Southpoint Mall. Area attractions and landmarks include the North Carolina Botanical Gardens, Raleigh Civic Center, Duke University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Durham Bulls Ballpark and the North Carolina State Fairgrounds.

All of the guest rooms, and two suites, have a plug-in panel, which connects a laptop, MP3 player and digital camera to a 42-inch flat panel HDTV. This Marriott hotel completed a $6 million renovation in 2008 that transformed the lobby, restaurant and guest rooms into a contemporary and stylish haven. Hotel clients who stayed here before and after the transformation were most impressed. One thing that did not change was the friendly and efficient service. Plus points, according to those who have stayed here, are the spacious indoor swimming pool, reasonable rates and room service which is prompt and provides quality meals at an affordable price.
