This was a nice, quiet and clean Hotel. There was only one place to eat within several miles of this location. Next time I come to this area, I will be staying elsewhere.

There was only one place to eat at this exit. Everything else was about 6-7 miles away from this exit.

Wonderful amenities. Loved the bedding and bath accessories.

Loved the amenities in the room like bedding, bath accessories.

Stairs were not very visible. Had to take elevator when I preferred to walk up one flight.

The bedroom and bathroom was relatively spacious and new. The hotel was easily accessed just off I40. The pool was located in the back of the hotel which backed to a wooded lot. I appreciated the privacy provided.

Accommodations were relatively new and spacious. Towels were provided at the pool. The shower heads were great!

The carpet in the main elevator needed a good cleaning or to be replaced. The carpet was very dusty.

Frequent visits to Conover say this is a great place to stay. The happy crew of employees provides efficient and friendly service and the accommodation is squeaky clean, well equipped and has very comfy beds. The rates are inexpensive particularly if you take full advantage of the bountiful breakfast buffet. The hotel gets many repeat customers, always a good recommendation, and first timers say they will return to this property on future visits to the Hickory area.
