The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Charlotte SouthPark provides all-suite accommodation equally suited to the business or leisure traveler. The eight-story, non-smoking hotel is near the SouthPark Mall, one of Carolina's premier shopping districts. The 152 suites have fully equipped kitchens and separate living and sleeping areas. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, socials on midweek evenings with a light meal and cocktails, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Area landmarks and attractions include Lowe's Motor Speedway, Bank of America Stadium, home of the Charlotte Panthers, the Paramount Carowinds Amusement Park and the Charlotte Bobcats Arena. The inn has two rooms available for social or business meetings. The larger can accommodate 60 guests.

They like the location, close to good shopping, reasonable rates, and the well-trained employees who are both efficient and friendly. All the suites have a kitchen with conventional oven and microwave oven, stovetop, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, toaster, coffeemaker and a full set of cutlery and crockery. There is a fireplace, work desk with high-speed Internet access, two-line telephone with voicemail, pullout sofa bed, two flat screen televisions with cable movie and news channels, hairdryer and an iron and ironing board.

This inn has an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, fitness center and sports court. The complimentary breakfast, and the midweek light dinners are the only meals served here. The inn offers a grocery shopping service and has a list of restaurants that will deliver to the property. Place to eat nearby include a PF Chang’s China Bistro, a Cheesecake Factory, Nobles and a Morton’s of Chicago Steakhouse. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include a coin-operated laundry, a car rental desk, full service business center, valet dry-cleaning vending machines and a picnic area with a barbecue grill.
