The 181-room Courtyard by Marriott Charlotte City Center is in the heart of Charlotte's uptown financial and entertainment district and has facilities suited to both the business and leisure traveler. The four-story, non-smoking hotel is near the corporate headquarters of Wachovia and Bank of America with interior access to both. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The property is two and a half blocks from the Charlotte Convention Center, The EpiCentre and Time Warner Cable Arena, home of the Charlotte Bobcats. There are three rooms available for social or business functions. The largest can accommodate 75 guests. The hotel is within walking distance of the Bank of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers and a short drive away from four golf courses.

All the guestrooms, and 10 suites, have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, Internet browser television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone. The bathtubs have spray jets.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool on the rooftop, whirlpool and a fitness center. The Courtyard Café serves breakfast and offers room service in the evening from 5pm until 10pm. There are several restaurants within walking distance including a Morton’s of Chicago Steakhouse, the Southend Brewery and Smokehouse and the Mimosa Grill. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, a list of restaurants that will deliver to the property, and information on area events and attractions. From Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) 8 miles: Take Billy Graham Parkway to I-77 North. Travel north to Exit 10, West Trade Street. Exit ramp to the right and make a right onto West Trade Street. Travel to Church Street, (approximately 12 blocks). Make a right at the corner of Church and West Trade. Get in the left lane. Travel two blocks to East Third Street and make a left. Stay in the left lane. Travel one block. The hotel is on the left. Entrance is a few feet past the corner of Tryon and Third Streets, left side. Third Street is one way past the hotel.
