The property is a short drive from the Charlotte Convention Center, the Paramount Carowinds theme park, the Billy Graham Library and the Ramblewood Soccer Complex. Other nearby attractions include eight golf courses, Lowe's Motor Speedway, Bank of America Stadium, home of the Charlotte Panthers and the Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

Families, who made good use of the kitchens, said the money saved on restaurant bills allowed them to extend their stay to see more of the North Carolina sights. All the suites have a kitchen with a refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, conventional and microwave oven, coffeemaker, toaster, toaster oven and cutlery and crockery. Other amenities include a work desk with high-speed Internet access, 32-inch LCD television with cable news and movie channels, pullout sofa bed, telephone with voicemail, hairdryer, alarm clock and an iron and ironing board.

The hotel has an outdoor seasonal swimming pool and a fitness center. There is no restaurant on-site but several places to eat nearby including Applebees, a Bob Evans, Wendy’s and an IHOP. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include a coin-operated laundry, vending machines, full service business center, valet dry cleaning and a picnic area with barbecue grill.

From Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) 7 miles: Tale airport freeway to Billy Graham Parkway and follow the signs to I-77 South. Follow I-77 South to Arrowood Road, Exit 3 Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Arrowood. Follow Arrowood to the second light (Forest Point Boulevard). Turn left onto Forest Point Boulevard. Go 1/4 block to TownePlace Suites and turn right into the parking lot.
