This is a large hotel with a central atrium with fake trees/greenery and small fountains scattered. Open glass elevators that are fast. The food service was good with great value at breakfast at least. The beds were superb as were the linens and comforters. Our suite had a small refrigerator, a microwave and of course a sink. Usual items as well: iron and ironing board, hair dryer and coffee pot with coffee. Very good value.

Suite with kitchen area, coffee pot, wonderful linens and comforters, nonsmoking.

Nothing stood out as being negative; had a bit of difficult locating the room service menu for lunch and dinner.

Loved the hotel. A little farther from uptown than I expected. Micro needed glass tray so it could be used; I told the front desk 3 times and was never fixed.

The 275 all-suites Renaissance Suites Hotel Charlotte is five miles from the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport and comprises two room suites that have a separate parlor with a sleeper sofa. Items included with the room rate at this nine-story, non-smoking hotel are an airport shuttle, in-room tea and coffee, a morning newspaper and parking. There is 19,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space for business or social functions. Area landmarks and attractions include several golf courses, Paramounts Carowinds amusement park, the Bobcats Arena, Lake Norman, the Bank of America Stadium Lowes Motor Speedway, the NASCAR Hall of Fame and shopping at the Southpark Mall.

The location is good, close to the airport and several sports venues, and the accommodation is clean and comfortable.
