I can only address my remarks to those that have not stayed at a Marriott. Anyone who has understands that the hotel is always...always...clean, well staffed, convenient, sound perfect and comfortable. I have yet to ever have an experience that was less than a 9.5.

The 297-room Marriott Charlotte Executive Park provides luxury accommodation at an affordable price equally suited to the business traveler or families on vacation. The 18-story, non-smoking hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to the nearby Charlotte Douglas International Airport between 6am and 10pm. Other items included in the rates at this full-service hotel are local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, a managers reception, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are 19 rooms available for social or business functions. The largest, the grand ballroom, can accommodate 1,000 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include seven golf courses, Charlotte Convention Center, the Paramount Carowinds theme park, the Billy Graham Library, Bank of America stadium, home of the Charlotte Panthers, Lowes Motor Speedway and the Ramblewood Soccer Complex.

Many former guests at this full-service hotel said the rates charged offered good value. The staff here was well trained, friendly and efficient. Those who attended functions said the facilities were state of the art and the events were professionally organized. Most clients liked the quieter location in a business park within walking distance of restaurants and other hotels. Words of advice from those in the know: The weekend rates are normally lower and the hotel makes a great place for a weekend getaway.
