This 135-room property is now the Econo Lodge and Suites near the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The property, ideally suited for the budget-conscious business or leisure traveler, offers a free shuttle service to the airport, free continental breakfast, free local phone calls and free Internet access. There are museums, specialty shops and restaurants close to the hotel. Attractions within easy driving distance include Bank of America Stadium, Lowe's Motor Speedway, the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, the Charlotte Bobcats Arena and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
