The 149-room Courtyard by Marriott Charlotte SouthPark hotel is located in the prestigious 90-acre SouthPark business community and provides quality, affordable accommodation to suit both the business and leisure traveler. The three-story, non-smoking hotel is a 20-minute drive from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport and 10 minutes from downtown Charlotte, historic Charlotte and the Charlotte Convention Center. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are two meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The larger can accommodate 45 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include eight golf courses, shopping at the SouthPark Mall, Bank of America Stadium, home of the Panthers and the Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

This Courtyard gets many repeat visitors, which is a great recommendation. Clients like the quiet, safe location within easy reach of good shopping and restaurants. There were many good reviews about the friendly and efficient staff. There were some complaints about the noisy air conditioning. The offending units are being replaced with quieter models. All guestrooms, and 57 suites, offer the choice of one king size bed and a pullout sofa bed or two queen size beds. Amenities include a work desk with high-speed Internet access, Internet browser television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and telephone with voicemail and speakerphone.

The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, a list of restaurants that will deliver to the property, and information on area events and attractions. From Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) 9 miles: Take Billy Graham Parkway South to the Tyvola Road exit. Bear right onto Tyvola. After 7.5 miles at Park and Tyvola Road, Tyvola becomes Fairview Road. Follow Fairview Road to next traffic light and turn right on Park South Drive. The hotel is on the left.
