The 90-room Courtyard by Marriott Charlotte Ballantyne provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both the business and leisure traveler. The three-story, non-smoking hotel has one meeting room available for social functions that can accommodate 50 guests. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Nearby landmarks and attractions include the Paramount Carowinds theme park, golf at the nearby Ballantyne Resort, Bank of America stadium, home of the Charlotte Panthers, the Billy Graham Library, Lowe’s Motor Speedway and shopping at the Carolina Place Mall.

Frequent visitors to Charlotte say this one of the best places to stay. The service is superb. The employees are efficient, friendly and take care of problems promptly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with large LCD televisions. Several clients said the breakfast was well worth the money and they certainly would stay here again on future visits to the area. All the guestrooms, and seven suites, have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, 32-inch Internet browser television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and two-line telephone with voicemail. The bathrooms have a separate shower and a bathtub with spray jets. Some of the accommodation has the added benefit of a microwave oven and refrigerator.

The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and a fitness center. The Courtyard Café only serves breakfast but there are several restaurants nearby including the Flat Rock Grille, the Rising Roll Gourmet, the Fox and Hounds and an Outback Steakhouse. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, a list of restaurants that will deliver to the property, and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include a full service business center, an ATM, a laundry and valet dry-cleaning.
