It is okay but nothing I would want to stay at again unless the Marriott was full.

This was the third time I stayed at this hotel and I can honestly say I love it here. The rooms are really clean and the room service/food is excellent.

Perfect location for airport, adequate parking, good shuttle to and from airport. Rooms quiet and clean, but very dark. Huge building, good facilities, friendly staff.

Close to airport, large attractive lobby, helpful staff.

Very dark rooms with inadequate lighting, huge long corridors.

The Holiday Inn Charlotte Airport Hotel is located just a mile from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport and provides a free shuttle service to the terminal. The 212 rooms and suites were all renovated in 2007 and provide good accommodation at economical rates for both business and leisure traveler. The hotel is close to Interstate 85, 77 and 485 which makes it an easy commute to any part of Charlotte. The U.S. National Whitewater Center is five miles away and other attractions close by include Bank of America Stadium, Bobcat Arena, Johnson C Smith University, Belmont Abbey College, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Concord Mills Outlet Mall and Lowe's Motor Speedway.

The attractive prices and renovated rooms got high marks from previous visitors. Many complained that the hotel, although close to the airport, was not in the best part of town and several said they did not feel like venturing out after dark. Dining was rated as typical Holiday Inn food but with great southern hospitality.
