The Inn was decorated very attractively. The floorplan was great, but I do wish the fireplace had been working.

The popcorn!

The only light available in the vanity area disturbed the person still sleeping.

The rooms and service were great! The rooms had full kitchens and fire places. Although I don't know what they need that for in North Carolina. The rooms and beds were very cozy and comfortable. I would for sure stay there again. It wasn't to far from downtown so we could drive or take a cab.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels all over and this was one of the best rooms I've had. It was very cozy and comfortable. Had a full kitchen/fireplace.

The pool wasn't the best. Didn't have many chairs and wasn't very big.

The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Charlotte South-Interstate 77 at Tyvola Road comprises 116 suites ideally suited to the extended stay business traveler or families on vacation. The suites have fully equipped kitchens and separate living and sleeping areas. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, socials on Monday through Wednesday evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby. The three-story, non-smoking hotel has one meeting room for business or social functions that can accommodate 40 guests. The property has good access to I-77 enabling an easy drive to downtown and the area attractions. Corporate offices close to the hotel include Equifirst, GE, Goodrich, BellSouth, Belk, Wells Fargo and Home Mortgage.

Extended stay visitors to Charlotte said this Residence Inn proved to be an excellent choice. The rates were reasonable provided you made good use of the complimentary items particularly the weekday managers reception with a light dinner and cocktails. It was a good place to meet new friends and learn more about the North Carolina attractions. If you do not want to prepare a meal in the fully equipped kitchens there are plenty of inexpensive restaurant within walking distance.
