The pet-friendly TownePlace Suites by Marriott Raleigh Cary-Weston Parkway provides economically priced extended stay accommodation equally suited to the business traveler or families on vacation. The four-story, non-smoking hotel is located between Raleigh and Durham North Carolina close to Interstate 40 and the Raleigh Durham International Airport. The property comprises 97 studios and one and two-bedroom suites, all with fully equipped kitchens. Items included with the room rate are a continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Area landmarks and attractions include six golf courses, the Chatam Hill Winery, Duke University, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, Crossroads Shopping Center, Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve and North Carolina State University.

Several clients said it was worth paying more to get the larger suites at this Marriott property. The smaller studios are fine for one person. Families who opted for the two bedroom suites said there was plenty of space and the kitchen enabled some home cooked meals. Many visitors said the hotel was in a quiet, safe neighborhood and the accommodation was very clean and the rates very affordable. All the suites have a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher, conventional and microwave oven, coffeemaker, toaster and cutlery and crockery. Other amenities include a work desk with high-speed Internet access, television with cable news and movie channels, pullout sofa bed, telephone with voicemail, hairdryer, alarm clock and an iron and ironing board.

The hotel has an outdoor seasonal swimming pool and a fitness center. There is no restaurant on-site but there are several places to eat nearby including the Village Deli, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Starbucks Coffee and a Bonefish Grill. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include a coin-operated laundry, vending machines, copy and fax services, valet dry cleaning and a picnic area with a barbecue grill.
