It was very clean, the staff members were really nice && there were even a few cute (young) boys on the staff for my daughter to look at. :) It was right on the beach and had a cute balcony for every room. It was really enjoyable.

I felt the staff was very friendly; enjoyed speaking with them; the town itself was charming with a variety of different shops and restaurants; and we enjoyed the slower pace of this area. The beach was clean and safe and the one instance when someone was misbehaving I was glad to see the local authorities responding relatively quickly.

The setting of the hotel on the beach; wide variety of families, old and young.

It had an antiseptic smell to it; should have a microwave.

We enjoyed are stay at this hotel. We would come back again. Not a lot to do in the surrounding area.

Very close to the beach.

The 144-room Courtyard by Marriott Carolina Beach is located near many North Carolina coastal attractions and provides quality accommodation for family vacations. The 10-story, non-smoking oceanfront hotel has direct access to the beach. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Area landmarks and attractions include the Aquarium at Fort Fisher, the Battleship USS North Carolina, Cape Fear Museum of History and Science, Carolina Beach State Park, Henrietta III Cruise Boat, Jubilee Water Park, the Municipal Marina and the Louise Wells Cameron Art Museum. The hotel has three rooms available for business or social functions. The largest, the Cape Ballroom, can accommodate 325 guests.

Many visitors to this Marriott property say they enjoyed their best vacation ever. The beachfront location, spacious rooms and a happy team of employees all helped make the stay here memorable. Most families said they could not wait to return. There were many attractions to keep all members of the family busy biking, water skiing or just relaxing by the pool. Major plus was the fact that every room had an ocean view and a mini-refrigerator.
