The hotel is conveniently located if visiting the Cape Hatteras lighthouse and near great fishing and excursion opportunities. The biggest downside to this hotel is its level of cleanliness as accommodations exhibit stained rugs and very dirty bathrooms. This can be attributed in great part to the fact that it the only hotel in the area. The staff is often inefficient when responding to complaints, and is especially unaccommodating when dealing with booking.
