Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast served in the grand fireplace lobby, a light meal on Monday through Thursday evenings with wine and beer, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room tea and coffee and parking. Area landmarks and attractions include several golf courses, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Whitewater Rafting, Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site, Chimney Rock Park and the North Carolina Arboretum.
