Definitely was well worth the money. Room was clean, bed not as comfy as mine but the room serve it's purpose well. Would stay there again.

Good location, friendly staff, and good breakfast.

Surface mold on the ceiling and wallpaper in shower.

Overall this is a great place to stay. If you have children, there is a pool and the breakfast choices are great for any age.

The staff were friendly, and a fairly nice breakfast was included.

The bathroom floor was white tile and needed to be bleached.

The 77-room Country Inn and Suites By Carlson Asheville I-240, formerly the Asheville Travelodge, is a short drive from downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate, and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price equally suited to the business traveler or families on vacation. Items included with the room rate at this non-smoking hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room coffee, a morning newspaper and parking. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 10 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include several golf courses, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Whitewater Rafting, the Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site, Chimney Rock Park and the North Carolina Arboretum.

This is a well managed hotel with reasonable rates in a good location, set back from the main road but close to the attractions. That is the view of several visitors to Asheville who stayed at this Country Inn. Other plus points were an excellent complimentary breakfast, computers available in the lobby at no charge and spacious, clean rooms that had very comfortable beds and lots of pillows. Tip from those who have stayed here: Get a room away from the elevator if you want a perfect night of sleep.
