The SpringHill Suites by Marriott Asheville comprises 88 suites ideally suited for families on vacation or the business traveler. The three-story, non-smoking hotel enjoys mountain views and is within minutes of downtown Asheville. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one 150 square-foot room available for business or social meetings. Area landmarks and attractions include four golf courses, the Biltmore Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, North Carolina Arboretum, the Flat Rock Playhouse and shopping at the Asheville Mall.

Travelers to Asheville really enjoyed their stay at this Marriott property. Families said the kitchen area enabled some in-room eating but they were tempted out because there are 40 restaurants within four blocks of the hotel. The efficient and helpful team of employees was full of information about the area attractions. Springhill Suites by Marriott Asheville Accommodations

All the suites have a pantry area with a wet bar, mini-refrigerator and microwave oven. Other features are a large work desk with high-speed Internet access, cable television with news and movie channels, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, two-line telephone with voicemail and data ports, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer.

This hotel has an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and a fitness center. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here but there are 40 restaurants nearby including a Carrabba's Italian Grill, Barley’s Taproom and the Greenery Restaurant. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, a list of restaurants that will deliver to the hotel and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include copy and fax services, a coin-operated laundry, valet-dry cleaning, vending machines and an airline reservation desk.

From Asheville Airport (AVL) 15 miles: Take I-26 West. Merge onto I-240 East. Take Exit 6, Tunnel Road. Turn Left at the light onto Tunnel Road. Take a Left onto Buckstone Place (look for our sign). The SpringHill Suites is located on the left next door to Carrabba's Italian Grill.
