The pet-friendly Holiday Inn Asheville-Biltmore East is a seven-minute drive from the Biltmore Estate and gardens and comprises 111 rooms all with mountain views and equally suited to the vacationer or business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this four-story hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. There are five rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 185 guests. The property is six miles from downtown Asheville. Other area landmarks and attractions include Chimney Rock Park, Black Mountain, Western NC Agricultural Center, Pisgah National Forest, the Blue Ridgeway Parkway, Flat Rock Playhouse and shopping at Biltmore Square Mall.

Pet lovers said this was an ideal hotel if you are traveling with your dog. These are rooms set aside for those with pets and the front office had special treats to welcome animals. Other guests said that this was a great hotel with attractive prices, very comfortable beds, clean, spacious rooms and in a good location close to entrance of the Blue Ridgeway Parkway.
