A good location in long island, a good place to stay if on business or pleasure in long island.

Hotel restaurant was very good for breakfast, but the room was never made up in the two day stay and we had to request fresh towels at 12:30pm after returning from a wedding that we attended at 3:00pm. I felt at this level of hotel we should of at least had the room made up for us, it was a good thing we were not staying longer, who knows how long housekeeping would take!

The 618-room Marriott Long Island Hotel and Conference Center is designed for the business traveler but its facilities are equally suited to the vacationer. The 11-story, non-smoking property is adjacent to the Nassau Coliseum and convenient to the central Long Island business district. There are 25 meeting rooms for business or social functions. The largest, the Grand Ballroom, can accommodate 1,000 guest. The full-service hotel is in Nassau County near Hofstra University and Roosevelt Field Mall. There are three golf courses a short drive from the hotel. Area landmarks and attractions include Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, the Belmont Park Racetrack, Old Westbury Gardens, Jones Beach State Park and Eisenhower Park.
