For my purposes, a short trip into NY for a family event, the hotel was perfect. I especially enjoyed the Wi-Fi availability at the front desk.

Cleanliness.

I prefer more protein for breakfast and there were many crab choices.

The 145 all-suites SpringHill Suites by Marriott Tarrytown / Greenburgh is 20 miles from Manhattan and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price equally suited to the business or leisure traveler. Each of the suites at this six-story, non-smoking hotel has separate areas for working, dining and sleeping. Items included with the room rate are a deluxe continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are two meeting rooms for business or social functions. The larger can accommodate 45 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include five golf courses, the Rockefeller Estate, Philipsburg Manor, Sunnyside Estate, Lyndhurst Castle, New York City, the West Point Military Academy, Rye Playland, the Bronx Zoo and shopping at the upscale Westchester Mall.

It may not have all the frills of neighboring properties but it has reasonable rates, comfortable suites and a team of employees that is both efficient and friendly. The courtesy shuttle that the hotel operates to nearby attractions and businesses was an added bonus. First-time visitors said they would recommend this Marriott property to others and they would stay here again the next time they were in the vicinity.
