Overall, the hotel was fine. It was clean and comfortable (the bed was very similar to the Westins Heavenly Bed). The atrium was nice to overlook. The hot breakfast included was a great deal. The location was about 10 minutes from Carousel mall and near the thruway to go to the outlet shopping. You would need a car to stay here.

The beds were very comfortable, good breakfast included, enforced quiet after 10 pm.

Fire alarm went off at midnight, pool looked cloudy.

We enjoyed the pool with our children. The breakfast was very good, and had lots of choices for our group of 6. We would choose the hotel again.

Hotel and lobby very eye pleasing.

Room carpet was torn and looked very worn, 1 elevator location took forever at busy times.

The Embassy Suites Syracuse hotel, a 215-room property on five floors, is located minutes away from downtown Syracuse, New York and Syracuse Hancock International Airport. The hotel operates a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. The property is easily accessible from I-90 and Route 81 enabling access to many Upstate New York attractions. The Finger Lakes and Adirondack Regions are within an hour of the hotel. The all-suites property has facilities to attract both leisure and busiess travelers. The hotels 5.000 square feet of function and meeting space can handle banquets or conventions for up to 300 people.

Each suite is nicely decorated and has a private bedroom and spacious living room. Amenities include two televisions, a refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, two telephones with data ports and a well lit dining-work table. Rates include full cooked to order breakfast and a two-hour manager's reception party each evening.

Does HotelsByCity recommend this hotel?

The accommodation and efficient, helpful employees get the thumbs up from previous clients. But some guests did complain that the immediate neighborhood is not the greatest for shopping or dining. There were several complaints about young children running around the hotel and making lots of noise. It seems more a parents problem rather than a hotel one. But it must have happened on several occasions since so many different guests have registered complaints.
