Ideally located for downtown activities, with adjacent parking. Very pleasant and comfortable decor, though a bit worn in spots. Restaurant was quite good. The hotel was being picketed by an ecumenical group protesting unfair labor practices the employees faced; that may influence your decision to stay.
Very attractive and comfortable rooms; ideally located for my purposes.
Constant noise from some machinery was just below tolerable threshold.

Accommodations
The rooms and suites come with a choice of one king size bed or two queen size beds. This hotel was the Crowne Plaza Hotel Rochester until it left the Holiday Inn group of hotels and became the Rochester Plaza. Sadly many guests were disappointed with the property and one client said he was totally underwhelmed! However we allow the property a YES rating because those travelers who were able to negotiate a low price said the hotel offered good value and they received professional and polite service from the employees. Some guests said they would stay here again while others said they would stay elsewhere on future visits to the area.
