rude service - posted on 05/23/2007

I was directed to the Manager (who was in the lobby). I tried to speak with him about my rate being incorrect when I arrived, and he gave me the brush off. The next day when he saw me, he went out of his way to ignore me, not even saying hello. Highly unprofessional.

Im very happy with the hotel, the location is great and the rooms are good. Its and small room for 4 people, but its and excelent choice.

Chelsea Nightmare - posted on 06/14/2006

The Four Points has extemely inadequate soudproofing. All night long there was screaming and yelling outside, including bar brawls and police. Although the accommodations themselves were fine, the neighborhood would prevent me from staying there again.

Nice but small - posted on 05/21/2006

The place was clean and rooms were pretty. The carpets were damp from the A/C and soaked by the ice machine. Make sure your room is not near the ice machine! It's very loud. Staff was friendly, but not at all responsive to requests (such as coffee packets in room, or more towels). In fact the Guest Services button on the phone did not work. I either had to call an outside line or go down to the lobby. Not a bad place to stay, but would probably stay somewhere else next time.

Nice Place to Stay - posted on 05/09/2006

The hotel was nicely appointed, but small rooms. Not necessarily a bad thing since I did not need to spend much time there. Great view of the Empire State?chrysler building. Nice staff, nice bistro next door.

I love this hotel - posted on 01/04/2006

I stayed at the FPS when everything farther uptown was booked. I was thrilled with the experience. It has the feel of a very chic boutique hotel in a cool location. The staff was amazing, very accomodating and much nicer than at more expensive hotels. I will stay at this hotel every chance I can.

Very nice hotel in a very convenient midtown location. Cool, masculine decor, has a boutique, trendy feel. Very clean, very nice bathroom amenties and comfortable.

good location - posted on 03/11/2005

I was there in January, and the room was pretty cold. There was no heating unit in the room (that is, there were no vents, or radiators, or anything to give off heat, except the TV). If you need to be in the room for any length of time, and are travelling in winter, find somewhere else.

Very nice stay, small rooms but cozy. Great location near subway, cabs and Amtrak. Boutique style, and quiet.

tiny but chic - posted on 12/14/2004

Plan to arrive at decent hour 'cause location is sketchy and parking is down the street (alley, that is). Photos are deceiving in size, barely room to turn around- tiny bed, tiny bathroom. Bathroom ceiling leaked, intermittent hot water in shower. Whole Foods market great for pickup meals. Walked to TS and shopping. Staff friendly and helpful.
