414 Hotel is located in the heart of New York City's Times Square. For tourists looking to be in the center of all the hustle and bustle, Midtown is the place to be. This tiny boutique hotel is actually two townhouses with a private courtyard in the middle. Near Broadway, Jacob Javits Convention Center, and Bryant Park, the 414 Hotel is an intimate experience in the middle of the big city. Near several subway lines, tourists can get around the city quickly and easily, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. For those that are driving, this hotel is near the Lincoln Tunnel, though midtown traffic can get hairy during rush hour periods. There isn't an in-house restaurant, but there's every food type under the Sun in that area - and most of them deliver.

414 Hotel is nicely appointed and well located, but travelers may be able to do more for the money. Service can be a bit of an issue at times, as can room maintenance. Call to clarify reservations before staying here, especially if you require an accessible room (there are no elevators). Families probably won't find this hotel to be the best fit for their needs, since it's very small, but single and people about town will find it adequate.
