Guests gave kudos to the warm and friendly staff and the fantastic hotel bar, which serves a "gorgeous variety of cocktails." The beds were described as "a little bit of heaven." One look at the rooms at 60 Thompson Street, and you will be forced to create a new definition of the phrase "boutique hotel." You will notice that they do not use the words "standard room." That's because nothing is standard at 60 Thompson Street! Decor is modern, chic and unique. The smallest rooms are 295 square feet. Need more space? Go for the 1,000 sq. ft. suite. Book the 1,800sq.ft. rooftop loft, and you will spend your vacation living like a true SoHO resident.
On the second floor lobby, you will find a comfortable reading room, as well as Thom's Lounge, which is a great place to unwind. The hotel also has a fitness center. Wireless Internet access is available at no extra charge. The hotel is set in a birch tree courtyard, which offers a much-appreciated recluse from the hustle and bustle of New York City.
