Wonderful location if you want to be on times square. Rooms are very large and clean. Staff are excellent.
Large wonderful rooms with a view.

Good location, very clean, new rooms, good service.
Our room was new and very clean , everyone loved the bed and pillows.
It was very hard to get a taxi from the hotel taxi line.

This is a first-class hotel, with well-appointed, quiet rooms that permitted neither street noise nor noise from neighbors. The amenities were excellent: flat-screen TV, luxurious bed, clean and modern bathroom.
Despite its location near Times Square, the hotel contained quiet, peaceful rooms.
The lobby's location on the 8th floor is disconcerting, but understandable.

After a $150 million face lift, the 1892 spacious rooms and 57 suites sparkle and are exceptionally well-equipped for business and pleasure travel. An in-room coffee/tea maker and the morning newspaper outside your door start the day right. Check your email or surf the Web with high speed Internet access. After a busy day in the city, the Marriott Revive bed beckons with down comforters, fluffy pillows and 300-count linens. Marble baths feature large mirrors and upscale toiletries, hair dryers and cozy bathrobes.

The Marriott Marquis is almost a destination in itself. There are on-site award-winning restaurants, boutique shopping, Broadway show ticket and tour outlets and nightclubs. Don’t miss the incredible view in The View Restaurant, the only revolving rooftop restaurant in New York City. Come for a sunset drink and stay for dinner and watch the city light up at night. Work off calories at the Fit for You Program in the 4,000 sq ft Fitness Center overlooking Times Square. Call on the concierge for those hard-to-get dinner and theater reservations.

Most travelers are thrilled with the location of the Marriott Marquis. When you want to be in the middle of it all, this is the place to be. Also, in a city where hotel rooms are often overpriced and under-sized, the Marquis is a pleasant surprise. While it's not a "cheap stay," it's worth the price for the comfort and convenience... and there are almost always great specials and promotions.
