Overall, a good, solid hotel. Easy access to Statue of Liberty, Battery Park, WTC, Wall Street and financial area. Our room had a beautiful view of the water. For the right price, I'd stay here again.

Dependable Marriott quality.

Unless you have business in the Financial District, you're kind of out of the way of the fun, "touristy" attractions in NYC.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The view of the Hudson River made it more enjoyable. The pool/fitness area was very nice. The staff was very accommodating. A nice place with all of the extra frills. I would definitely stay there again.

Very clean with all of the special touches. Liked being out of heavy tourist area. Very quiet.

No parking available without extra charge.

This is a great hotel, and for the price, it could not have been any better. Friendly staff, nice, clean rooms, and great views.

We had two rooms across the hall from each other and each had a great view - 1 World Trade center site, 1 Statue of Liberty.

It was at the southern tip of Manhattan, so was not easy to walk to mid-town attractions.

The 497-room Marriott New York City, previously known as the New York Marriott Financial Center, provides luxury accommodation for the upmarket business and leisure traveler. The 38-story, non smoking hotel is located in the heart of the citys financial district, with easy access to the World Trade Center site, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, South Street Seaport, Battery Park, and SoHo NYC. This full-service hotel has 12 meeting rooms for business or social functions. The largest, the grand ballroom, can accommodate 600 guests. Area attractions and landmarks include Chinatown, Greenwich Village, the New York Stock Exchange and Little Italy.

This is a great Marriott. The only complaint is the high prices. But guests who stay here understand that quality costs particularly in New York City. There are lower rates at weekend and many couples take advantage of that to see the big apple when things are a little quieter. For a very special meal dinner at the award-winning Roys restaurant is a real treat. The majority of guests say they would recommend this property to others and they hope to stay here on future visits to the city.
