The staff is superb; welcoming and enthused. Fabulous concierge services that made every effort to accommodate our needs. The ambiance is beautiful and elegant and very clean. The linens and furnishings in the room were beautiful and very fresh. We would stay again in a new York minute.

European elegance, but staff was not stuffy

The room service was average; coffee tepid and not flavorful.

When you want to stay in style, this is a good choice. NYC is a destination where many hotel rooms tend to be small and overpriced. While this hotel is expensive, you get what you pay for in terms of gracious service and spacious accommodations. The Sunday brunch is worth the trip and the bar serves the best Cosmopolitan in town!
