A Great Hotel!! - posted on 01/16/2007
The room was large, very comfortable and clean. Having access to coffee/hot chocolate throughout the day, with cookies mid afternoon was a very nice touch. The breakfast provided each morning was great. Location was ideal for seniors as it was close to Broadway and Times Square. We have recommended your hotel to friends and would not hesitate to stay at your hotel in the fuutre.
5-star service - posted on 01/16/2007
This is an excellent hotel for value, excellent staff, with 5-star service. The hotel clerk refused to announce our room number verbally due to security preferences, and I asked her twice and she still refused to tell me the room. Par excellence. Other hotels can learn from your management. Room is great for families and price is affordable most of seasons.
A good choice - posted on 08/14/2006
I enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn. I found their rooms to be nice. They could be improved by having refrigerator & microwaves since there was not a restaurant in the hotel. Otherwise, it was sufficient
Wonderful, Remodeled Rooms - posted on 01/20/2006
We found this hotel to be an excellent place to stay in New York City! It had just been remodeled and everything was brand new. It was close to the theatre district and restaurants. Our room was spacious and beautiful! We will stay there again upon returning to New York!

Review of the Hampton - posted on 03/01/2007
My only dining experience was the breakfast area, which was acceptable but nothing spectacular. The rooms were very nice and the brief experience I had with any of the staff was good. I liked the fact they had many freebies, like the breakfast and Internet, that some of the more expensive hotels do not have. Its a nice touch that would draw me back to them. They also had a nicely laid out work area, with the internet ready desk area.
Best hotel experience in NYC - posted on 01/04/2007
Great location. Great room. Great service! Everthig is within walking distance. The subway staion, broadway, times sqaure are all within reach in minutes. Don't forget to go to Cosmic Diner, prices and food were great there.
Great deal - posted on 01/02/2007
Can't be beat for price and location. Good-sized room with comfy bed; hot breakfast; easy walk to subway, theater district, Rockefeller Center. Area is safe; good restaurants nearby.

Good location, low rate, large room, attentive front desk and service folks and free breakfast too - can't beat it!
Hampton Happiness - posted on 11/25/2006
The Hampton Inn Manhattan-times Square North was a great experience. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious and clean. They provide a yummy hot breakfast and have numerous restaurants that will deliver to your hotel room door. Security is tight and service is definitley given with a smile. We will stay here again when we return to NYC!
NY Value - posted on 11/23/2006
This is a very well kept property with lots of family energy. The location is excellent with easy access to all of Midtown. The rooms are huge; really huge for NY with great beds. Absolutely no noise on the top floors on the back side of the property. The coffee in the lobby is a nice perk and the staff was very friendly. The only blip was a Concierge who seemed to be terminally unfriendly, but heh, that really is her problem. We will stay here again and look forward to great NY value.
WOULD STAY AGAIN - posted on 11/08/2006
In town for a 1 day business seminar. Nice size room for the price. Bathroom was a little small. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety. Centrally located.
I couldn't believe my luck - posted on 10/15/2006
I was looking for a decent hotel that didn't cost a fortune and saw favorable online reviews of the Hampton Inn, but was suspicious of the low price. I took a chance, and what a terrific surprise! There is nothing I did not like. The room was BIG, the bed was big and very comfortable, the breakfast (included) was more than adequate, a free newspaper every morning, fruit in the lobby, huge television. The location is terrific. I walked to the theaters, and Lincoln Center is a quick bus or subway ride away. All of this for a very reasonable price.
A Great Experience - posted on 09/16/2006
We were on a "Girls" W/E and all of us, in a NY minute, would stay at the Hampton again. The rate was excellent and the hotel was wonderful. The 24 hr coffee was better than Starbucks.

Family Vacation - posted on 08/13/2006
At checkin the front desk staff was fast, efficient, and friendly. The bellman was friendly and helpful with information regarding nearby restaurants. The room was large enough considering we spent the majority of our time sightseeing. It was clean and nicely decorated. The free breakfasts were a nice touch and a real money saver. I liked that the menu changed daily. The hotel's location is ideal for sightseeing and for subways and tour busses for venturing away from the Times Square area. I will most definitely stay here again when I return to NYC.
Great hotel - posted on 08/10/2006
Very convenient to theatre district, Times Square, subways. Having a large breakfast included each day made a big difference in our family's budget. Big room, as well. Four of us were not cramped. I would definitely stay there again.
Clean hotel, great proximity to theatres - posted on 08/08/2006
Frienldy staff, clean rooms, and close to Broadway and Times Square. The location can't be beat. Would definitely recommend staying there. We'll be back when we go to the city.

It was sufficient - posted on 07/24/2006
We stayed here for one week in June. The room was small for the three of us but we were able to walk everywhere! The theatre was right around the corner and you could see Central Park Columbus Circle down the street. The front desk staff and the breakfast needs improvement. Elevators broke down daily and many people stay here--hard to get personal service.
Excellent Hotel - posted on 07/19/2006
The Hampton Times Square provided excellent service, with clean rooms, and an excellent breakfast. The location is a few blocks from Times Square and very safe.
Close to shows - posted on 07/10/2006
Loved staying here. Our room was clean,air-conditioning worked fine, breakfast was good and staff was helpful. Walking to shows was a breeze. When we arrived at 9:00am, a room was ready so we could leave our bags and head off to MOMA for the morning. When the airport shuttle didn't pick us up to return home, they arranged for another ride to JFK for us. We'd definately come back again.

Great place to stay. Close to everything. Staff was excellent. Coming back in July
Coffe-drinking, theatre-goers ...this is it. - posted on 06/15/2006
H.I. lived up to the reviews we read before booking. Easy (after the 1st time) access to subways to WTC site and Central Park, good food across the street (go Ray's!!), great coffee all the time, safe and easy walk to theaters, nice breaksfast selection, clean comfy rooms (yes-the bathroom is small but who needs excess room there?), check in/out was a snap. Stay again---yes.

From disaster to triumph! - posted on 04/25/2006
We arrived at midnight NY time, after confirming our reservation with the hotel only to be told that no room was available for us. We were tired, hungry and not happy to hear that. The staff was great and found us another room at a near by hotel (that was not nearly so nice), paid for our cab ride there and back, let us check in early the next day when we arrived to continue our reservation, and gave us a late checkout and a fruit basket. The room was lovely, and the staff transformed me from an irate customer to a very satisfied hotel guest.

Christmas in NYC - posted on 12/27/2005
I found the Hampton Inn-times square north to be the perfect location for my two day trip to see NY at Christmas time. The location was superb (most sights were within walking distance), price better than most, and the included breakfast was perfect for us. The room was very nice and clean and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definately stay there again if I return to the city. The only negative is the parking. Because it is run by someone else, I paid $25 for the night I stayed but ANOTHER $25 for the extra three hours before I picked up.
Wonderful stay! - posted on 11/01/2005
We stayed at the Hampton Inn Times Square for four nights at the end of September. We couldn't have asked for a better hotel. Everything was newly remodeled and the state of the art! The hotel staff was so very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the delicious crisp apples, the breakfast buffet, warm cookies, and most of all, the "to go sack" when we had to leave at 6:30 AM. It kept us nourished on our flights! The location is excellent--just a few blocks from all the action of Times Square--restaurants, shopping, and Broadway shows! We will definitely return to the Hampton Inn Times Square upon our next trip to New York and recommend it to others!

Excellent Hotel and good location in city. Rooms were very nice and well kept. Very clean also. One elevator went down which slowed getting in and out of hotel but no major problems. Depsite renovations hotel was very nice. Concierge was very helpful also. Will definatley stay here again.
Ok hotel - posted on 06/02/2005
The room was new and lovely, we enjoyed the beds and the new furniture. The building was undergoing a remodel so it was a bit dusty and not quite put together. It was a good location. We were happy with our stay there with a cheap rate.
Very disappointed - posted on 05/09/2005
I was not advised of the renovations taking place in the hotel. Construction started 7:a.m. (banging etc.), dust everywhere. Cosmetically a mess. Extremely disapointed with stay.
You get what you pay for in Manhatten! - posted on 05/02/2005
A decent enough place to get off your feet at the end of a long day of sight seeing. No frills for sure, but for the price, not so bad. We got to NYC early and they we gracious and stored our luggage so we could get to the fun. They were kind about giving directions and advice about what to see. We needed a cheap one-night stay and that was what we got. We didn't go to Manhatten to sit inside a hotel room!
HORRIBLY DISGUSTING!! - posted on 02/21/2005
Was not notified that hotel was under renovation the room dusty, full of mold in the bathroom, smelled like mold, could not turn on the air condition (heater), water was either scolding hot or ice cold while taking a shower, could hear people next door as if they were in the room, windows were full of dirt and foot prints from workers outside. This was not the way my husband and I thought we would spend our anniversary and my first time in New York. An awful experience we will not forget.
