small side door type entrance in the same waldorf astoria complex gives you economy feel. but price paid warrants luxury feel which wasn't always there. overcrowded restaurants. very basic room amenities. a block away lies much cheaper alternatives.
Location can't be beat.
Overpriced for everywhere outside New York.

Each of the rooms in this hotel are nothing like any hotel room you have ever stayed in. They have separate sitting rooms, perfect for families and corporate rentals. After a long day of walking around seeing New York's wonderful attractions there is nothing better than resting on one of the Waldorf's comfortable beds. The Waldorf Towers has everything one would want and expect in a luxury hotel. You don't have to go far for great food as the hotel's room service and onsite restaurants will be sure to keep you well nourished for you stay in the Big Apple.
