The hotel staff could have been more helpful. We didnt get assistant with our bags. When we asked questions about resturants and sights it felt like a chore for them to give us information.

I recently visited with my 21 yr old daughter- the room provided a bedroom with a kingsize bed with a sofa bed in the adjoining tv room. It was ideal as each of us had our own seperate area that did not disturb the other. The hotel is in Times square so everything was within an easy commute. The concierge and bell staff were very helpful

Perfect if you have kids!Rooms are huge and beds are great! Extra room to let kids play while you relax in the other room. Microwave, frig, paper towels etc., in rooms. Location is wonderful. Great resturants right outside, and a McDonalds for the kids. Even a great grocery store on the next block. Walk to "everything". The shower tile could be updated and it would be great if the cleaning ladies would not make noise in the a.m. but that was minor compared to the satisfaction you will have staying at this hotel! We were on the 29th floor and couldn't hear any noise at all!

This hotel is right in the heart of everything, yet you feel safe with security checking room keys. The room was clean and comfortable enough for 2 adults, 1 child and 1 teenager. The only problem we had was the pull out sofa bed that the kids said was very uncomfortable. The other bed was great. We will book this hotel again.

We traveled with two 14 year old boys and the location couldn't have been better. The hotel is secure and Times Square is well maintained and safer than ever. The kingsized bed was super comfortable and climate control worked perfectly. We requested extra comforters to soften the sofabed mattress, and the boys were very happy. Warm cookies upon checkin - yummy.

This is a terrific property. Employee's couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The suite was perfect for four of us. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Location was great. Will definately book again.

My husband, 2 teenaged children and I spent a night at Doubletree and we'd definately go back. The hotel's location is perfect going up or downtown (subway 3 steps outside the hotel door) and of course for B'way shows. It is secure; you have to show your room card to get into the hotel. When I requested non-feather pillows, they were there in 10 minutes. The suite was clean and spacious, even by NYC standards. Everyone was helpful. Don't eat the restaurant--food was fair. But so many great restaurants are nearby that you won't want to. Oh, and warm cookies on arrival. Definately 5 stars.

Very impressed with the size and comfort of suite. I selected a smoking room and was concerned there may be a musty smell.There was no odor and the cleanliness was excellent. The king bed was extremely comfortable. Room was quite spacious and terrific views of Times Square. Very quiet considering the location and excellent check-in/check-out process. Staff was fantastic and doormen were A+!! Had a great weekend....THANKS Doubletree!!

service, from bellman to front desk to concierge to housekeeping and others was great. very helpful and knowledgeable. rooms were clean and good size. there was 5 of us. beds and sofa bed were comfortable. a memorable family vacation stay.

This hotel was the best!. View of the TSQ was one in a million. Suite was clean, clean, clean even got an upgrade. Bed and pull out sofa were comfortable. Will stay there again. Good security.

The location is SUPER, the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and free use the internet is available. You don't have to pay for a fancy lobby, and you have great security. We were very pleased with this choice.

This was our 2nd visit to NYC with teens and 2nd stay at this hotel. GREAT location--Times Square, Broadway and 5th Ave. shopping. Security at the hotel is great--very comforting to know that only guests are allowed upstairs. Staff at the desk very helpful and courteous. Great rooms for families. All beds were comfy EVEN the pullout was great. We all give this hotel THUMBS UP !!!

being in trhe middle of Times square I wasn't sure how quiet and dark the room would be to sleep but once I pulled the darkening curtains and fell into the most awesome bed, pulling up an incredible down comforter, sleep was not the problem, getting out of bed was. The room was a good size for the 3 of us, plenty of room. We will stay here again.

This is a very convenient location, close to many attractions, subway, Central Park, 5th Avenue, Broadway ticket booth across street. Suites nice, with refrig and microwave . Hotel staff was OK, but not exceptional.

Suite was great - Five was able to fit in one suite. Great Bell Service .. TKTS booth was across the street, as was subway. Highly recommend.Great place to get to talk shows in the early mornings. Parking was 30.00/nite extra but they offer packages online at the doubletree site. Check it out. People at resveration desk was not overly friendly but the bell guys were awesome!! If you want a great clean place and close to everything, this is the place for u! the extra room for five people helped out so much!

Great location in the heart of Times Square. We unpacked and within the first hour a mouse ran under the door into our room and under the couch. Called the front desk about the mouse and they acted suprised of course.We were inconvenienced with having to repack and move to another floor. They did not offer any upgrades or discounts which would have been the nice thing to do.This was our first time to stay in the city and our first mouse ever. I was very much disappointed in knowing a rodent was in the hotel. Otherwise the hotel was great. Great security! Great cookies!!

Hard to beat the location-right in Times Square; walked to Broadway shows, and 5th Avenue shops. Accomodations were better than expected. Nice spacious rooms, clean, modern decor. Our room on the 21st floor was above the street noise and we felt quite secure. Beds were very comfortable. Had a good comparative price. I would definitely stay here again. We used valet parking on arrival but when leaving we were told that we could walk to the Garage (across the street) and save. The peresonnel at this hotel were very friendly and helpful.

hotel is in perfect location if you are a tourist. a clean modern 2 room suite. a bit pricey but well worth NOT having to deal with a small room so common in NY

We stayed 3 nights to see Broadway shows, location was excellent, we had our 2 kids with us and were mistakenly put in a 1 bed room, they changed us immediately. TV was broken, they came up immediately to fix. Excellent location near theatres, restaurants, shopping, nightlife. We would definitely stay here again. Efficient staff, good working elevators, security at front. One downside, bathroom no fan, gets steamy tub was slippery. Clean Rooms!

A paradise in the midst of NYC buzz, step outside and you're in the middle of all the happenings in NYC...the suites are a great size compared to other hotel room sizes in NYC. Deco is modern and pleasant. Kids loves the cookies and free backpack on checkin! Great service - would definitely stay here again!

Brought kids to NYC for first time. Suite was great - we were all able to fit in one suite (2 s, 4 kids). Lovely decor, everything updated and spotless. Great Bell Service on check in. Step outside of hotel, and you're immediately surrounded by activity. TKTS booth was across the street, as was subway and double-decker tour buses. Fun to look out window at night and see the crowds streaming by late into the night. Highly recommend.

Amazing value for size of room and location. We love Ritz hotels, but for Manhatten theatre district this is our favorite!

EVERYTHING WAS JUST GREAT. ALTHOUGH THE MAID WE HAD SEEMED TO HAVE A PROBLEM IN PICKING UP THE DISHES THAT CAME WITH ROOM SERVICE.

The suite at Doubletree was roomy and comfortable, but the decor, tans and browns, was much too masculine for me and my friend. Two nightstands by the comfortable king bed could have both used a lamp instead of the one that was there. Location is excellent for theater-goers and Times Square, Rockefeller Center, diamond and shopping district.s. I'd love to stay again, but at $740 for two nights, it was a little pricey for me. The warm cookies were scrumptious!
