this was a ok place to stay. it was still too much money in my opinion.

The hotel was well placed with in easy walk of Times Square, and the Subway. The staff was all polite. The room was not what we requested but the staff did what they could to work with us.

The hotel had free internet and was confidently located.

I wanted a non-smoking room with 2 beds I ended up with a smoking room and a lot of haggling to get 2 beds.

The rooms were large. They were clean and quiet. The location was great, only a short walk to Times Square and Port Authority.

Close enough to attractions, but far enough away to be peaceful.

Hotel staff were kind of helpful, but did not go out of there way.

Holiday Inn Midtown - 57th Street is located right near Fifth Avenue shopping and events. Located within spitting distance of Central Park and Rockefeller Center, this hotel is suitable for those who wish to see the more urbane, peaceful side of New York City. The Sixth Avenue subway runs near here, and can take you to the other parts of the city where there's more in the way of nightclubs and bars. For corporate travelers, this location is close to several major publishing houses, NBC Universal and the AOL Building. The biggest highlight of the area, though, is the access to major theaters and performing arts. Guests at the Holiday Inn Midtown - 57th Street are close to Lincoln Center, Broadway and Radio City Music Hall. There are three restaurants inside of this hotel, so chow down on Italian, American or lounge fare. There's also a fitness center and outdoor swimming pool for guest use.
