I liked this hotel due to the fact it was cheap and convenient. It is very similiar to being in a dorm room. It's smal like a dorm room and shared bathrooms. But it's excellent for price and location. Parking was right across the street. My friend and I explored New york in two days. I would definitely come back again for another roadtrip adventure

Stayed 5 days. First night in a front room was terribly noisy and unbearable without ear plugs. We were moved to a quiet room at the back. Rooms are small but perfectly adequate for the price. Bathrooms were spotless and we never had to wait. Reception staff very help and allowed very late check out due to exceptional circumstances of the blizzard and gave good advice on how to get to the airport when all the roads were blocked!!! I would definitely recommend this hotel for a cheap budget visit in a very central and safe area and we will stay there next time in New York.

The room smelled. The airconditioner couldn't cool the room below 80 degrees. It was slightly better than being homeless (although it smelled worse and was hotter than the streets).
DO NOT GET A ROOM NEAR THE ELEVATOR - posted on 06/04/2005
CLEAN CONVENIENT BUT HOUSEKEEPING IS TOO NOISY. EVERYTHING IS TILED SO NOISE REVERBERATES THROUGH THE ENTIRE FLOOR. DOORS CONSTANTLY SLAMMING

This is a clean, budget priced hotel. The staff is friendly. The rooms are SMALL but where can you find a decent, safe hotel in Midtown for under $100.
