About the Americana Inn New York City

For the non-fuss, don't-mind-the-noise, on a budget travelers coming to the Big Apple, this could probably be your kind of hotel. Americana Inn is a very basic, dorm room-like hotel with shared bathrooms and little else. The service is friendly, the rooms are small but clean, and waiting for a bathroom is hardly an issue (and yes, they're very clean too). It's located in a more quiet area in Manhattan, and merely four blocks away from Times Square. You can't find a better price for the location especially considering how many other 2-star hotels in Manhattan are overly priced and shoddy.

This is only for travelers who aren't too picky as to where they're staying as long as it's safe and clean. This hotel is both. Noise could probably irritate some, especially in the morning when people are leaving their rooms and the doors slam on their own. This is a dorm-room type of hotel, so you get what you pay for. Otherwise, if you're just looking for a place to crash for a couple of nights in NYC, this place is great. Read our customer reviews?

Americana Inn New York City Accommodations

A choice between small single-bed room, one double bed, or two double beds are available. There are several bathrooms (which have showers & a tub, not just a toilet) on every floor, including a clean public kitchenette, cable tv and safety deposit boxes. The beds are clean and sleepable, towels and other toileteries are available for use.

Amenities offered

There's a parking garage right across the street. You can't miss it since there are a lot of tourists who bring their cars to be parked there. There's a large display of tourist maps at the lobby and you won't have any troubles finding a place to eat in New York City.

Located in between 5th and 6th Ave, on 38th St. (address is 69 West). At first you might miss it because the entrance to the hotel isn't obvious. Look for a forest green colored door. If it's locked ring the buzz bell and it'll open. Make sure to remember the street address more so than looking for the hotel name, especially if you're arriving by car.
