The hotel is located in one of New York's most desirable neighborhoods, minutes from New York's bustling Midtown, directly across from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and steps away from Central Park. This intimate little gem is pricey but many consider it well worth it. The Stanhope is one of the best places in NYC to experience Old World style luxury and hospitality. Service is impeccable and sitting at the sidewalk cafe and watching the world walk by is incomparable. Classic ambiance yet with all the modern amenities today's travelers require. Park Hyatt Stanhope Accommodations

All of the Stanhope's guest rooms offer the utmost in comfort and convenience. You will be able to wrap yourself in the luxurious surroundings and leave all your cares behind. The 185 rooms are furnished in French Empire style with Asian accents. They feature dual-line speaker phones with data ports, fax, CD players, robes and Floris toiletries. All rooms include a mini bar, terry robes and slippers, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and in-room safe. Some rooms offer in-room hot tubs and kitchenettes.

Amenities offered

Many rooms have views of Central Park. Guests can enjoy on-site parking, access to the fitness club, and complimentary maps of the area. Several wonderful restaurants are on site, including Le Salon for high tea. In-room amenities are from Saks Fifth Avenue.
