About the Hotel Beacon

Unlike many of the new ultra-modern hotels in the Big Apple, the Hotel Beacon is classic "New York." To further elaborate, the Hotel Beacon embodies the essence of one of the most distinctly unique neighborhoods in New York City: The Upper West Side of Manhattan. The Beacon Hotel is also home to the Beacon Theatre, which is one of the top concert venues in New York. Depending on your tolerance for noise, this can either be a good or bad thing.

If you are looking for a classic New York experience, the Beacon is a great place to stay. It is an especially good choice if you are attending a concert at the Beacon Theatre. Hotel Beacon Accommodations

Many of the rooms at the Hotel beacon are somewhat larger than those found at the typical New York City Midtown hotel. Standard rooms give you the choice of two double beds or one king bed, a marble bathroom and a fully-equipped kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, tea kettle and complimentary coffee and tea.

If you are traveling with up to four adults, consider a one-bedroom suite, which includes a bedroom with either two double beds or one king bed, a living room with a pull out sofa bed, a marble bathroom and a fully-equipped kitchenette including a microwave, stove, full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, tea kettle and complimentary tea. Larger suites are also available.

Amenities include Internet access, coffee makers, iron and ironing boards, valet dry cleaning, laundry and a 24-hour restaurant.

Since parking is not available and New York parking is hard to find, it is suggested that you use public transportation. The IRT Number One and Number Two Lines stop at 72nd Street and Broadway, which is only two blocks from the hotel.
