The room met our expectations and we felt at home and slept like babies. The indoor pool was spectacular. The restaurants were overly priced for what they offered, but there were plenty of good restaurants in the surrounding area.

I was very pleased with this hotel. There was a full work out room, pool, hot tub and sauna. The robe in the closet was a very nice touch. The doors to the rooms closed quietly so you didn't hear people going in and out of the rooms.

Nice hotel, central location on Nassau Suffolk county border with quick access to lie/i495. Nice indoor pool that was buzzing with families during our visit. Clean and pleasant, no surprises!

Nice rooms with spacious bathroom and good water pressure.

Lots of phone wires and extension cords on floor in plain site by window.

The 304-room Hilton Long Island/Huntington is located in the Melville business district in the center of Long Island, and provides top quality accommodation designed for the upmarket business and pleasure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this full-service hotel are a shuttle to nearby attractions, a copy of USA Today, high-speed Internet access, in-room coffee and parking. There are 13 meeting rooms available for business and social functions including the grand ballroom which can accommodate 1,500 guests. The property is one mile south of the Long Island Expressway and New York Interstate 495, making it easily accessible to the Hamptons, Jones Beach and New York City. Other area landmarks and attractions include a Dave and Busters, the Adventureland amusement park, the Bethpage Park Golf Courses, the Long Island Vineyards, Jones Beach State Park and shopping at the Walt Whitman Mall.

This is an exceptionally fine hotel demonstrated by the fact that the majority of the guests are repeat clients. The reasons they return to this Hilton are the reasonable rates for the area and the professional team of employees dedicated to providing prompt and professional service. Earlier complaints about the rooms looking a little dated have stopped now that all of the accommodation has been renovated. Most first-time visitors say they will return to this hotel on future visits to Melville.
