A great place to stay - clean, free breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, very near subway station and a quick 5 minute subway ride to Manhattan! We would stay there again!

We weren't sure what to expect as we walked from the subway station to the Comfort Inn, but were more than pleased with the hotel itself. It was clean, up-to-date and quiet, reasonably priced. Would recommend it to anyone visiting Manhattan who prefers private bath, good prices and quiet nights, and is willing to travel 15-20 minutes by subway to Times Square. Visitors might want to consider taking a cab for late night returns to the hotel, but we never had an issue walking from the subway.

Room was small but very clean and well-kept, continental breakfast excellent start to day, staff efficient.

Neighborhood was not the prettiest, could use directional signage to help public transit travelers find the way.

Nice hotel, good position in the city, close to public transportation and to bridge to Manhattan, clean. Rooms are quite small. We were given a smoking room, somehow smelling bad. Not so nice thing: the window was facing a junk depot on the other side of the street.

Location was very close to public transportation and Manhattan.

Surroundings a little bit dirt and downgraded, industrial area.

The 80-room Comfort Inn Long Island City is located at the base of the Queensboro Bridge and provides affordable accommodation equally suited to the business or pleasure traveler. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, a copy of USA Today, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one 900 square-foot room available for business or social functions. The property is one block from the Queensboro Plaza Station giving easy access to the Queens and Manhattan areas of New York. The hotel is a few miles from both LaGuardia Airport and JFK International Airport and there is a 24-hour shuttle available for a small fee.

Those who stayed at this Comfort Inn say it is in a great location, an easy subway ride to Manhattan, and the rates are reasonable. Many guests said the accommodation was good, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was large but sadly the breakfast area was small. There were good comments about the employees being helpful and efficient. There were some clients who said there some working here who were a little aloof and the elevator was S L O W. Despite this most guests said they would stay here again and recommend the property to others.
