I'd recommend staying here to anyone looking for a branded hotel chain in a very inviting resort town. Comfortable, kid friendly, very nice lounge area and outside seating with views of Mirror Lake and the Adirondack Mountains.

Location, vista of surrounding area, location, location, location.

The staff was great - very friendly & helpful. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and reasonably priced. The view was fantastic... you almost forgot you were located right in the middle of town, close to all the shops, restaurants and pubs. Only drawback for some travelers might be the fact that the property is situated at the top of a fairly steep hill. Overall, a great place to stay.

Lodge atmosphere was great; scenery was gorgeous.

The Crowne Plaza Resort & Golf Club is in the heart of the Olympic Village located in Lake Placid. A truly beautiful location, the town is frequented by many international tourists all year round. Whether you are in town to do some shopping in the quaint international shops or to enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake itself, staying at the Crowne Plaza Resort is a great choice. Rooms are luxurious in this resort and golf club and you get to enjoy a long list of amenities too. The roms include full kitchens, fireplaces and Jacuzzis.
