Not bad for one night. - posted on 04/24/2007
Overpriced, but it's NY after all. The rooms are tiny, but clean. Some of the rooms are in the basement with windows at street level. Nest amenities are a deli and burger king on Rockaway Blvd, a block east from the hotel. The surroundings are dismal: the Belt Parkway, a school bus garage, and a sanitation garage, among other industrial facilities.

The hotel is located next to the city parking for garbage trucks. The room smelled of urine and the careting was worn out. The window faced a small alley. I refused to stay there but they would not reimburse me any money because I booked through x. I had to take the loss because the place was filfthy and smelled.

I needed a room for waiting next day flight. Shuttlebus system worked as said (once in an hour) and drivers were nice. The distance to downtown is was almost 2 hours by public transport system and taxis are expensive:) But enjoyed the hotel, especially bathroom was clean and had great shampoo. Room size wand bed were ok to me. Better bring your own food if you arrive late.

This place may be close to JFK, but it belongs in the backblocks of Tennessee somewhere. Service was snarley, communication was negligible, and guests are made to feel as though they owe something for being catered for here. "Clean up after yourselves, and don't tell me your problems" if you have a query, are the standard responses. Not a hotel, more a hovel, and the price is ludicrous.

This was the most basic of accomodations. Room was small, noisy and shower did not work! Not worth the savings!

If you are under 4 feet tall, this hotel is good for you. If you stretch both arms out, you can almost touch both walls.

The hotel is relatively new. The shuttle service from JFK was prompt and the staff was courteous. The rooms were small but comfortable.
Pretty Good Stay - posted on 02/15/2006
This hotel is still fairly new. The rooms were clean and they had free parking. It was a little tricky to find at first, but you can't beat the price for a New York City hotel near the airport. They also had free Internet. The breakfast bar only contained pastries, but it was free so we didn't complain.
