I felt that the cleanliness of the hotel was evident. The staff takes great pride in the facility. The staff is to be commended for its attitude and has made me a customer whenever I am in the area.

Staff went out of its way to be very helpful and friendly.

This 135-room property is now a Quality Inn and no longer bears the Marriott logo. The hotel location off the New York State Thruway is well suited for both business and leisure traveler. The property is just minutes from local businesses like Carrier Corporation and Bristol-Myers Squibb. It is also within driving distance of Syracuse University, the Erie Canal Museum, Turning Stone Casino, Alliance Bank Stadium and the Carrier Dome sports facility. East Syracuse is an incorporated village and a suburb of the city of Syracuse in eastern Onondaga County. Good shopping is available at the nearby Carousel Center shopping area and Waterloo Premium Outlets mall. Several specialty restaurants and cocktail lounges surround the hotel.

Former guests here liked it when it was a Fairfield Inn by Marriott but said it was beginning to look a little tired and jaded. Now as a Quality Inn, with lower prices, those complaints have stopped. Friendly staff and reasonable rates were the main reason many said they would recommend this property to others. Several businessmen said there was a VIP floor, a carryover from the Marriott days. The additional charge for a room here was worthwhile for improved accommodation and facilities.
