The 82-room Holiday Inn Express and Suites Albany Skyline is in the town of Rensselaer and provides affordable quality accommodation for both the business traveler and families on vacation. Items included with the room rate at this three-story hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. There is meeting space that can accommodate 120 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include Times Union Center, the New York State Capital, RPI Tech Park, Saratoga Race Track, The Egg Performing Arts Center, the Palace Theatre, New York State Museum and shopping at the Empire State Plaza which is five miles from the hotel. The property is 12 miles from Albany International Airport.

According to those who have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express, this hotel is surprisingly nice for the price. The location is good, close to the highway and three miles from downtown Albany and the rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The complimentary breakfast bar was more extensive than many guests expected and the cheerful crew for employees got top marks for the efficient and friendly service. Words of advice from former clients: Get a room on the side of the hotel that has dramatic views of downtown Albany.
